About the company – customer

Our client is involved in the rental of handling equipment, an international company with several branches in Slovakia.

Customer requirements vs. Initial situation discovered by IT audit

  • Planned lifespan of server hardware and software has ended.
  • The parent company’s decision to transition to a private cloud of the group.

Custom IT solution

  • Simultaneous transition of all 4 branches through hybrid migration, as the branches retained their own access points (firewalls). In the new IT infrastructure, employees will primarily work in the cloud on terminal servers.
  • All work was carried out simultaneously with the regular work activities of employees, without interrupting their work.
  • The implementation consisted of several phases:
    • Preparation phase – copying data where possible and duplicating systems.
    • Implementation weekend – The project needed to be well planned logistically, as we had to work simultaneously at all four of the client’s locations, it was necessary to install access points and connect them via VPN with cloud – server in the data center into one large network.
    • Post-implementation phase – training and troubleshooting.
